Inaugural ride

Today’s 60+ degree temperature was just what I needed to get my arse off the chair and into the saddle – the bike saddle, that is. I dusted off the shoe clips and got on the bike for a quick 20-miler.

Not really accounting for the wind, I took off blindly to the south. Lucky me, it was directly into a stiff wind. Ugh. I told myself it would be worth it on the way back. This familiar route took me to Cottage Grove on Hwy N. The wind stayed constant so I was rockin’ on the way back.

Overall, it was a good way to start the riding season. Another sunny and slightly warmer day on deck for tomorrow should have me out on another ride.

Or maybe I should wait until I figure out what my legs feel like…
