Tuesday was the first day of school for those in the area. As is our first day tradition, we took a picture of the schoolgirls on the porch of the house. I even got up on a ladder this year so the photos would be taken at eye level. (There were complaints in the past that shots from below were slightly less than complimentary.)
For the record, Clare is in 7th grade (first year of middle school), Hannah is in 9th grade (first year in high school), and Mommy is in year two of her 1st-2nd grade loop (same kids as last year but moving on to 2nd grade).
