We have a graduate

And for a change, it’s not the woman on the left.

2012-06-09 005Congratulations to Hannah and the entire Marshall High School class of 2012 on their graduation.

The ceremony was held in the increasingly warm high school gym on a sunny and beautiful Saturday afternoon. Relatively informal, we had the privilege of hearing short talks by Hannah & Wyeth, Caleb & Ana, and Marissa & Elisha. Senior members of the choir and band were able to give their farewell performances along with their classmates. Each of the 78 graduates heard their names announced – most of them correctly – and crossed the stage shaking hands with the president of the school board (Jeff Ziegler), the high school principal (Brian Sniff), and the district superintendent (Barb Sramek).

The recessional gave the parents the final honor of turning the tassel of their graduate and escorting them out.

Pictures, pictures, pictures, and as quickly as it began, it’s now over. Upward and onward to bigger and better adventures!
