There are many good things about Hannah playing setter on her school’s volleyball team. Namely, she is a pivotal player in a leadership position on the court, she’s involved (or should be) in every play, and she’s getting great position work in for her future playing days.

Did I mention she’s involved in nearly every play? Yeah, about that…You get an “assist” when you set your hitters and they put it down. This is good. As the only setter, she obviously leads her team in assists every game. Statistical leaders get mentioned in the newspaper. Also good. However…

Apparently, the home team gets to submit the official stats. At a recent away match, this was the box score:

Schmoomer? Really? Wow. Way off on that one.
At least they won.
