On Saturday, the Marshall varsity volleyball team hosted an invitational tournament. Thinking that it might take all day and cut into the Wisconsin football game or the Brewers second last regular season game, I was a little worried. Thankfully, there were only 5 teams and everybody played everybody in a two-game match. After a mere 4-4.5 hours we were on our way home.
Looking at the final results, the teams were pretty evenly matched. Every team had losses at the end of the day. Unfortunately, Marshall came out on the short end…in every game. I commend them for continuing to play hard throughout the tournament. Sportsmanship matters. Well done.
Hannah suited up and was ready to play. Because of the way the team performed, she only made brief appearances in a few of the games.
Parent’s night is coming up on Tuesday. All of the high school girls and their parents will be introduced before the varsity game. Cool, but weird.
