Winning is nice, but this picture proves that the Marshall Youth basketball team can still have fun despite going 0-3 Saturday. Their final tournament at Whitewater High School was not kind to them, but they proved that they can still laugh in the face of adversity. I’m sorry to admit that Hannah started this little fashion trend during their last game by hiking her shorts way too high while she was still on the court. It was only successful in embarrassing her father and distracting the official scorer.
So that’s it. The season is over. Youth basketball is over. There is no youth team for high school girls, so it’s school ball and maybe a summer league from here on.
