I suppose I owe a quick post regarding the last 8th grade girls youth basketball tournament before school ball starts.
Fall River hosted a tournament and Marshall ended up doing pretty well. Of the three games that they played, they finished 2-1. Multiple wins in a 5-on-5 tournament? I like the trend. Not to draw any conclusions, but Hannah missed the first game (that they lost by a narrow margin) and participated in the final two (which were wins). The loss came against host Fall River and the wins were against Berlin and Horicon.
Hannah has decided to take a break from basketball for a while. She’ll watch her friends play school ball while she keeps going with club volleyball. Youth basketball picks up again after school ball so look for more updates this spring. (Yes, it’s the never-ending season.)
