Sorry about the lack of posts this week. I was in Chicago all week and just now recently out of the mounds of paper and e-mail write a quick update.
Clare participated in a home meet last weekend and did great. I’ll post some video from that shortly.
(Spoiler = The 11 year-old Level 5 beam champion’s first name is Clare…)
Hannah and a friend and I just returned from the UW women’s volleyball match against Michigan State. UW came out flat and got stomped in the first game. We evened it up in game two but lost a tighter game three. Game four was tied 28-28 when we got hosed on a call that was clearly out. With the crowd booing mightily, State served and scored the game-winner. Match over. Ouch.
Another meet for Clare tomorrow in Watertown and UW men’s hockey for me and the boys. More to come.
