Hannah participated in another volleyball tournament this Sunday at UW-Whitewater and I was lucky enough to attend as a spectator. In what seems to be more the norm, twelve teams of 14-year-olds knocked it around in pool play for 6 hours before a couple more hours of playoffs. Teams were seeded for the playoffs and played against more closely matched clubs. It wasn’t pretty for Midwest Juniors White, but they were competitive in the playoffs. Keep repeating, “It’s a learning experience. It’s a learning experience.” Every game brings more situations where they all pick up tidbits that will prove useful down the road.
